‘The MYP Conclave, simulation of the electoral processes in a democracy, was conducted on Saturday, 20th February 2021 at NISV. Nesting under ‘Service as Action’, the students of MYP year4/ Grade IX, spearheaded this simulation, whose operational concept, drawn from the representative governments of India and The United States of America, was ‘Nurturing Democratic Attitudes’. The agendas debated were: COVID-19 Lockdown Debate: Lives Vs Livelihoods and “Violent vs. Nonviolent Protest: Which provides the best chance to advocate positive change?”

‘Eco-Heroes’, in this year’s MYP conclave celebrated the innovativeness, critical and
creative thinking of the students of grades 6 and 7.Exploring the topic ‘Back to School Safety
tips during the Covid-19 Pandemic’ -the students presented innovative and practical
protocols to be implemented for safety of the staff and students. Team of ‘Eco –Heroes’
from the house of Seekers was adjudged the best team through the online voting system.The
best speaker was Divyanshu Ray ( grade 7 A -Nurturers) followed by Nitya Mongia ( grade 8
A) and Presha Patel ( 7 B -Seekers).The House of Inquirers was judged first in the Virtual
Board Competition.
